It’s Sci-fi. It’s Animated. It’s a half-hour comedy series. What more do you need to know? OK maybe a little…
Space Shuttle answers the question: What if all the sci-fi characters you’ve ever known all exist in the same galaxy? And take cabs? I know, I know. This question has been on your mind since the beginning of time. But now you know! Hilarity ensues.
The series began during the 2020 pandemic lockdown as a sanity project for Director/Animator Derek Frederickson. The story was initially based off a book written by the incredibly talented duo of Sean Platt and Johnny Truant, but once some writer friends (and family) got involved, it took on a life of its own! Who knew where this little journey would take him, a few friends and an amazing cast of talented VO actors! It’s been a ton of fun to create, and it’s just getting started.
As of this writing (Sept 2022) there are two episodes completed, and a third on the way. Check out “The Pilot“, and “A Fairy Special Episode” right now!
